Krill 500 Oil
Antarctic krill, measured out
500 mg of Antarctic krill oil per gel capsule, carrying 200 mg of marine phospholipids, 60 mg EPA, 40 mg DHA and 100 µg of naturally occurring astaxanthin. One to two capsules a day.
Inside the capsule
One oil. Four numbers.
Krill are tiny shrimp-like crustaceans from very cold ocean waters, and their oil carries two omega-3 fatty acids — EPA and DHA — bound to phospholipids, plus astaxanthin, the pigment that gives the oil its red colour. Here it comes as a straight 500 mg per capsule with every fraction quantified. The capsule shell is bovine gelatine; the product is halal approved but not suitable for vegetarians or vegans.
The whole capsule in one line — a single-source marine oil, not a blend. Not of UK origin.
The lipid form the oil's omega-3s naturally arrive in — two-fifths of each capsule.
One of the oil's two omega-3 fatty acids, stated per capsule.
The second omega-3 — 100 mg of EPA and DHA combined per capsule.
The carotenoid pigment behind the oil's deep red colour, present in the krill itself.
One or two capsules a day. That's it.
One capsule a day is the baseline — most people find an oil capsule easiest alongside food.
The label allows one to two capsules daily, or as advised by a health professional.
Not for anyone with a fish or shellfish allergy, and if you take blood-thinning medication or have a coagulation condition, speak to your doctor first. Not intended for use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
SUITABILITY: NOT suitable for vegetarians and vegans Halal approved
