1. The short version
We collect only what we need to run your account, fulfil your orders and — if you say yes — send you emails worth opening. We do not sell your data. Ever.
2. What we collect
- Order data — name, delivery address, email, phone number, and what you bought.
- Payment data — handled entirely by our payment provider, WooPayments; we never see or store your card number.
- Account and marketing data — your email preferences and, if you join our email list or affiliate programme, the details you give us.
- Site data — cookies and analytics that show us how the site is used (see section 6).
3. Why we use it (and our lawful bases)
- To fulfil your order and provide customer service — performance of a contract.
- To keep records HMRC requires — legal obligation.
- To protect the business against fraud and to improve the site — legitimate interests.
- To send you marketing email — consent, which you can withdraw with one click in any email.
4. Who we share it with
Only the service providers who make the shop work — hosting, payment processing, email delivery and parcel carriers — each under contract to protect your data and use it solely for our instructions. We disclose data where the law requires it. We never sell or rent personal information.
5. How long we keep it
Order and invoice records are kept for 6 years after the tax year they relate to, as UK tax law requires. Marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe or after a long period of inactivity, whichever comes first. Everything else is kept only as long as it is needed for the purpose we collected it.
6. Cookies
Cookies are handled by the consent banner that appears when you first visit. It holds the current, itemised list of every cookie this site sets and what each one does, and it is where you accept or refuse each category. You can change your choice at any time from the same banner.
7. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you may ask us at any time to access, correct, delete, restrict or export the personal data we hold about you, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interests. Email contactus@wellsparq.com and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data you may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
